Ministry Partnership Update from Ukraine

You can now read the Ministry Partnership Report from IIya Vysotskiy for the 1st half of 2024.

This half yearly report from Ilya details some of the progress and the challenges with the church plant in Chernihiv. It will be of particular interest to you following our recent virtual visit with Ilya on 7th May.

The report also has a photo of the partially  finished building they use and the problems that it presents especially in the winter months. They are involved in offering humanitarian help every week and are seeking guidance from God on how best to do this in the midst of all the hardship being suffered around them.

Recently Ilya spoke at the monthly EBF Prayer Meeting for Peace and Healing and shared about the real pressures the war in Ukraine has brought, including people being called up for military service and others wanting to leave Ukraine. This has all led to challenges in getting people to take responsibilities in this young church.

We continue to pray for Ilya, Victoria, their young family and the growing church family in these times.

Let’s continue praying for further growth of new planted Baptist congregations where indigenous leaders preach the Gospel in spiritually needy and materially underprivileged nations.

The support of Irish baptists has made this work possible through the European Baptist Federation Mission Partnership scheme.

Thank you again for your support.
